Lately I've been enjoying painting "En Plein Air" (painting on location) at this award winning state park and other state parks on 30a. Jeans turn from blue to green and the garage floor goes from grey to orange depending on the painting :) This one definitely added some orange to the floor, rockin the 70's blazer! This painting is 40x30 and was a commissioned piece for a family in WaterColor. The waves were pretty nice that day, and I was wishing I had remembered to bring my surf board. This guy was just leaving in his Wagoneer with his longboard sticking out the back. I'm sure he got some nice waves that day. Grayton Beach is one of the only places in the area that locals can drive out onto the sand. I was driving through Seaside at about 8:30 in the morning and I saw this Honda Element parked in front of Dawson's Yogurt. The paddle boards (or yolo boards as everyone calls them locally) were so long they extended past the front and back of the Element. The palms cast a nice shadow on the building as well.
